Headlining the camp out this year is the band Mel Nino who
will be cranking out the tunes. Come out and celebrate our
nations Birthday Eve in style. I only ask that people bring
a few fireworks for our little show.

When:
Wednesday June 30, starting around dark

Bring:
Tents, beverages, games, guitars, etc. We encourage everyone

TOUR ARTICLES STILL WANTED:

Now that we are halfway through the season I am sure everyone
has had lots to write and cheer about. How about telling us
about the close game you had against that team that surprised
you or why you started playing or why you are still addicted
to the sport that gives you scraped knees, pulled hamstrings
and blisters from those new cleats. Send in your thoughts,
articles, cheers, and photos. TOUR needs your contributions.

DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE:

Hello everyone,

The next session of the developmental league will take place
Sunday, June 27 at 1 pm at the Riverside fields. Two weeks
ago we had 25 people come out to learn about catching, cutting,
and making space for cuts. Later on that afternoon, we put
those newly acquired skills to the test in a tightly fought
scrimmage, which the dark team won. We ended the afternoon by
heading over to the Great Canadian Cabin for a late lunch,
beverages, and to talk about the battle that took place earlier
that day.

This week we will learn about bail cuts and hucking.

Anyone interested only in pickup ultimate can show up at
2:30 pm.

Thanks,

Fadi

REGULAR RULE:

Hi All!

This week's rule is about Endzones... Thanks Sylvie!

X END ZONES:
1. If a team gains possession of the disc in the end zone
which it is defending:

A) The player taking possession of the disc MUST make the
immediate decision to either;
i) Put the disc into play from that spot, or
ii) carry the disc to the closest point on the goal line and
put it into play from there.

B) To fake or pause after gaining possession commits the player
to put the disc into play at that point.

ARE THERE ANY ULTIMATE PLAYERS WHO WORK AT CHAPTERS?:

"Does anyone know an Ultimate player that's an employee of
Chapters. I seem to recall there was a woman who was in a
managerial position. If you are reading this or if someone
can help, please contact Dave at davebrown@worldultimate.com".

LOST:

I was wondering if you could put in a "lost" article for a
team member of mine. She lost a silver ring on the Gatineau
field this past Monday (June 7). If it's found, they can email
me about it (she doesn't have decent email access, so it's
easier to go through me).

Thanks in advance,
Amanda Pinto (captain of Who?Us? Mon 5/2)
