VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - 13TH CANADIAN NATIONALS:

Well the "13th Canadian Nationals" are less than two weeks
away and we are looking for people to assist us over the six
day span of the tournament Wed Aug 18th through Monday Aug
23rd. If you have some time to spare and would like to
volunteer your assistance please fill out the volunteer form
indicating any specific job cell that is of interest to you.

CANADIAN NATIONALS - INFO:

**Less than TWO weeks away**

Action starts on Thursday August 19th around 9:30am and
continues until Sunday afternoon August 22nd, than ending
with the 'Open' and 'Women's' FINALS.

Come check out the **NEW** playing facility, have a "tasty
beverage", sit back and enjoy the SHOW.


***THE ULTIMATE PARTY***

The Canadian Nationals are putting on a Grand PARTY and are
inviting ALL Members of the "illustrious" OCUA League to
attend.

When:
Saturday, August 21st. (After 9pm)

Where:
The Drill Hall. (Located on Laurier @ the canal, near 'Arts Centre')

Who's Playing:
The Hammerheads, Little Crazy White Guy and DJ Jim Reily.

Why:
Why Not!?...It'll be Something.

The cost of the *PARTY* will be $5 for non National Players.

for next years' most exciting Ultimate Tournament? Are you
interested in giving back something to the community? The
event will take place late May and all monies will be donated
to the Cancer Research Society

DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE:

Hello everyone,

This Sunday's (August 8th) session of the developmental league
will be the last one of the summer. We will continue our
discussion on how to put on a stifling zone defense and how
to break a weak zone defense with a poised zone offense. Also,
we will talk about playing gnarly person-to-person defense.
Finally, we will spend some time on game strategies. Don't
forget to invite your teammates.

Unfortunately, I will not be there due to prior ultimate
commitments, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank
everyone (players and coaches) for their enthusiasm and effort.
I plan on running the same league next year, so if you have
any suggestions on how to improve it you can tell your mother
about them because I don't want to hear them. Actually, you
can just email me the suggestions and I'll try to incorporate
them next year.

Clinic:
1pm, Riverside fields.

Pick-up game:
2:30pm, Riverside fields.

Post-game beverages and snacks: Great Canadian Cabin

LOOKING FOR MASTERS FOR A TEAM AT NATIONALS:

This could be your last chance to play at a "Canadian Nationals"
before they put you out to pasture or -STUD-.

The Masters Division at Nationals is currently at seven teams
and I am looking to enter one more team to round out the
division. I currently have six players and we are looking for
about eight more crusty veterans. Ottawa already has Mule and
Will Poach For Pot. It should be easy to get a "posse" together
