EDITORS NOTE:

After careful contemplation and a lot of procrastination I
have decided to allow paid advertising in Ultimate Happenings.
Before you "lower the boom" and opt out of receiving Ultimate
Happenings you may want to look at the following website which
contains the rules and philosophy behind my decision.
http://www3.sympatico.ca/mharley

My goal is to permit (at most) one small ad at the BOTTOM of
each issue. All money an ad generates goes to OCUA. If you
have concerns or comments let me know.

Thanks
Mike

OCUA WEBSITE FEEDBACK WANTED:

Hey there everyone, my name is Mack King and I have recently
taken on the job of website coordinator for the league website
(http://www.ocua.ca). Last year we made some significant
strides in trying to make our website a valuable and up to
date source of information about Ultimate in Ottawa as well
as other disc sports here and around the world.

Since it's the off season we thought we'd take another kick
at the cat and try to take the site to the next level. What
I'd like/hope to get from you, the Ottawa Ultimate public, is
feedback (the good, the bad, and the ugly) on what you thought
of the website this past year, what you liked, didn't like,
what you want to see up there in the future, pretty much
anything.

So, lets get those juices flowing. I know there are people
out there with opinions, so lets have at it.

Send any and all feedback to:
Mackenzie.King@CrossKeys.com or mackking@ottawa.com

Thanks in advance all,

Mack King

LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT:

Hello Frisbee types -

I am looking for an apartment for Feb 1 in the centertown
area. I, um, have a dog and a cat - sooooo, I'm looking to
either live with animal lovers (no, not "lovers") in a house,
or a one bedroom.

Please let me know if you hear of anything.

Thank You!

TWO CHALETS IN THE MONT TREMBLANT REGION FOR RENT:

First chalet - spacious four bedroom ski chalet over looking
Lac Gauthier. It is quite rustic, TV/VCR, fantastic dining
room table, gorgeous fireplace and has a huge open common area.
It is fifteen minutes from Mont. Tremblant. Renting for the
season for $5600 and utilities. It is a great deal just
considering the average cost of a chalet over the New Year
week!

Second chalet - luxurious ski chalet in St. Faustin for rent
for the week of Christmas and the week of New Years Eve. All
hardwood floors, two full bathrooms - one with a jacuzzi, four
bedrooms with two double beds, pull-out couch downstairs,
sleeps 16 comfortably and can sleep up to 20, TV/VCR/ library
of movies & books, huge driveway, fireplace and five appliances.
It is a newly renovated and gorgeous chalet right in the middle
of town while overlooking the lake (though not directly on it).

Cost -
Christmas Week December 20th - December 26th $900
New Years Week December 27th - January 2nd $3500

Both will go quickly so if you are interested in renting
either chalet or need more information -
