DISC GOLF CLINIC:

The next disc golf clinic will be held at Jacques Cartier Park
(North) (http://www.geocities.com/ottawadiscgolf/location.html)
this Thursday evening, starting near the Maison de Velo, and
will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

SATURDAY PICKUP:

Due to finals, we will not be organizing pickup on the weekends
of Aug. 18-19th and 25-26th. I know, it's sad...

After finals, we will unfortunately not be able to continue
organizing pickup - though I encourage you all to keep playing.

It has been great fun this summer and I have enjoyed playing
with you!

DISCO INFERNO, BARRYMORE'S, SAT AUG 25TH:

Disco Inferno - 10 piece disco band, full costume etc

Tickets: 8$ door, 6$ at Ticketmaster
or if there is enough interest, perhaps we can
arrange a discount for a group purchase of tickets.

Being a member of Disco Inferno I'm sure I could arrange a
sweet deal. The band had a great time the last time players
came out. It was a joy to play for everyone. It's the only
crowd we play to that are actually fit enough to dance and
drink all night!!!

This would give us all a chance to get to together and
experience the true "spirit" of the game!! (sorry bad pun)

DISC GOLF MATCHPLAY SERIES #2:

This is just a quick enquiry to see if there is enough interest
to start another Matchplay Series this fall.

It will use the same format as initiated by Ken Darcovich,
but will be expanded to 24 or 32 players, IF THERE IS ENOUGH
INTEREST.

It could start up during the first week of September, and would
be a great lead up to the Ottawa Open which will be held at the
end of the month.
