CANADIAN NATIONAL ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP DEADLINE

The deadline for registration at this year's Canadian
National Ultimate Championships (CNUC) is coming fast. The
last day to send in your initial team fees of $500.00 is
this Saturday, June 15th. If you receive this message and
you are not planning on coming, please pass it on to your
local ultimate community. It is extremely important that
everyone who wants to play at this years CNUC get their bid
in by June 15th.

All the information you need to know about this years
tournament can be found at http://www.ocua.ca/Nationals2002/

Following are the teams whose team bids have been received:
Note: This does not mean that they have been accepted. We
will have to wait till after the deadline of June 15th to
see if any regional tournaments will have to be played.

Mixed
1. JUCE Ontario
2. Sweet Ass Ontario
3. FLAP Prairie
4. Grin Quebec
5. Gravité Zero Quebec
6. Smooch Ontario
7. Victoria' Lucky B.C.

Open
1. Too Bad Ontario
2. PONG Ontario
3. Les Q Quebec

Women
1. FUSE Ontario
2. Sirens Prairie
3. Flyé Quebec

I urge all of you to act on the "June 15th deadline"
immediately, or your chances of playing in Ottawa this
August will be greatly diminished. I can say, that
preparations are well underway in an effort to bring you the
very best tournament possible. The Ottawa Carleton Ultimate
Association and all of its members look forward to hosting
you, your team, and the rest of Canada.

SUGGESTION REGARDING DOGS

This is a suggestion from one of OCUA's members about how to
deal with your "doggie-bags" so that they are not left at
SOD or UPI... :) Thanks for the tip!

---

I'd just like to make a suggestion about disposing of dog
waste. People probably don't like to bring the waste in the
car with them.

What I do is....

If you use a grocery bag take the handles of the bag and
catch them in the latch of the trunk of your car. Close the
trunk. Let the bag hang outside your car attached by the
handles of the bag in your trunk.

Works for me. Never seen anyone else do it.

Picked up a black jacket [Thu June 6] at SOD 6. It has a
logo "Raiders 99-2000" on it. I don't think it was the other
team's jacket. gwong01@yahoo.com

1 pair of tortoise shell sun glasses with mirror shades at
SOD May 28. doug@classicalsounds.com.
