ELECTION OF THE PRESIDENT

From: Hollie Last, Secretary of OCUA Board of Directors

At the 15th meeting of the OCUA Board of Directors held 2004-
01-12, Directors elected Mr. Steve Ott as President until 
2004-12-31 in a secret ballot process. 

Mr. Ott has been involved with the Ottawa Carleton Ultimate 
Association since 1989. Mr. Ott served on the OCUA Board of 
Directors for several years and was re-elected for a two 
year term in 2002. Mr. Ott replaces Mr. Ken Lange as 
President. 

Mr. Lange served as President of OCUA since 2000. Mr. Lange 
was re-elected to the OCUA Board of Directors in 2003 and 
will continue to serve as a Director until 2005.

The OCUA Board of Directors would like to acknowledge Mr. 
Lange’s contributions to OCUA and thank him for his 
dedication, leadership and tireless support of OCUA and 
Ultimate in Ottawa. 

The next election for President will occur in December, 
2004. Further information can be found in the record from 
the 15th meeting of the OCUA Board of Directors (to be 
available shortly), or by contacting the Secretary of OCUA.

OTTAWA ICE BOWL III

Charity Disc Golf Tournament
"No Wimps, No Whiners!"

24 Holes (featuring several new holes)
on the 24th of January, 2004
@ Jacques Cartier Park North, Gatineau

On behalf of the Ottawa Food Bank

Registration: Saturday, Jan. 24th, at noon
$25 entry fee + 1 or 2 full bags of food

A Charity Auction at The Honest Lawyer (141 George Street, 
Ottawa) will follow the rounds of golf. Bonus Ice Bucks will 
be awarded to those who bring bags of food to the 
tournament, and even more Ice Bucks if you bring prize items 
for the Charity Auction. All proceeds & food go to the 
Ottawa Food Bank.

Three Divisions:
- Sub-Zero (for those who regularly shoot under par from the 
  blue tees)
- Above Freezing (for those who shoot above 0 from the blues)
- Ice Queens (the Women's Division)

Prizes: Trophy - Ice Bowl Discs - Tee Shirts - Golf Towels - 
CDs - & more!

Charity Auction: DVD players, Koss Portable CD Players, RCA 
Headset Radio, Wilson Titanium Squash Racquet, Citizen 
Watch, T-Shirts, CDs, Gift Certificates & more!

Registration: Register for the tournament in person at the 
Ultimate Disc Golf Store, located at CD Exchange, 142 Rideau 
Street, Ottawa. Sign up early and get your choice of discs 
with the Early Bird Player Packs (limited quantity) which 
feature Ice Bowl logo discs (Aviars, Beasts, Eagles, & 
Rocs), and an assortment of good stuff! Late registration 
will be available at the tournament @ noon, Saturday, 
January 24th.

Ask anyone who has attended one of our Ice Bowls - they are 
a blast, and the Charity Auction prizes are great!
