Youth and Junior Coach

Do you play Ultimate? Are you a parent of youth currently playing ultimate? Are you passionate about the game and want to share that passion with up and coming players?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions we would like to see you as a volunteer coach for OCUA's Youth and Junior Recreational Summer Leagues! 

Our coaches are responsible for introducing youth or junior players to the sport of ultimate with primary emphasis on fun and secondary emphasis on learning and understanding the sport of ultimate. Coaches must have a basic knowledge of the rules and the ability to lead a team in functional drills while integrating fun games and challenges to assist in skill development. Each Coach will be supervised by a Head Coach at every league location.

Important!

Per activities involved with age groups in the vulnerable sector, coaches are required to complete a Criminal Reference Check. If you don't have one, OCUA will provide you with the neccessary documets to get one for free.
