The Indoor Leagues of OCUA follow the USA Ultimate 11th Edition Rules, with the following exceptions:
- Games are no longer played by teams of 7 on the field:
- Quebec city variation plays with 6 with mixed having a gender ratio of 4/2;
- Switch-on-the-fly variation plays with 5 with mixed having a gender ratio of 3/2;
- 4x4 Rules plays with 4 with mixed having a gender ratio of 3/1 or 2/2 offense choice.
- Games are played to time, not to score.
- Timecaps: In general, games are played to a hard cap. When the game end time has been reached the game is halted regardless of the game status. A timekeeper should be appointed for the game. That person should provide a 5 minute warning to both teams and should also signal the end of the game.
- Stall count is 8 in all mixed leagues.
- It remains 10 in Women's Coached.
- Divisions using pulls to start points (Friday Central, Thursday Carleton Co-ed, Womens Coached):
- There are no time outs, nor half time.
- A pull is made and received from the back of the endzone.
- The brick mark is 8 meters in front of the endzone line.
- Carleton Thursday: No point can be scored by a throw that originates before the halfway point of the field. The only exception is if the disc is tipped during the flight by the defense.
- At Carleton on Thursday disc will revert to the thrower.
- Divisions using QC Variant or Switch-on-the-fly rules
