2010 OCUA Summer League – Important Dates and Fees

Registration for the 2010 OCUA Summer Leagues will open February 22, 2010. All information related to summer leagues and registration will be available on February 22, 2010.

It is OCUA’s intention to have online registration available for the 2010 Leagues. Payment options will include cheque, cash or email money transfer and must be received within 7 days of registration.

There will be no increase in 2010 OCUA Summer League Fees for all online registrations submitted on or before March 22, 2010. In order to ensure operational efficiency and maintain a fiscally responsible inventory of non UPI fields (i.e. City field rentals), there will be a 3% late fee added to registrations submitted after March 22, 2010.

As many of you know, the Government of Ontario is adopting the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), which will have the effect of increasing the sales tax on league fees from 5% to 13%. We are consulting with CRA and our auditors to understand if we can save you paying the extra 8% this year through the early payment of summer 2010 fees prior to the HST switchover date.
