The cost to play in the OCUA Fall League is $375 per team, payable by cheque at the captain's meeting on September 6th at Local Heroes on Clyde. Besure to reserve your space in advance. The captain's meeting will be an informal session where you can pay your fees, chat with your fall coordinators and check out some merchandise. Arrive between 6:30 and 8:15pm. To get more information or to reserve a space for your team contact the Fall Registrar. Please state your team name and your preference for night.

OCUA will be creating 2 teams of individuals for this fall league one for Monday/Saturday and one for Tuesday/Saturday. The cost is $30 per person to register. Individuals who are interested in this option can reserve a space by contacting the Individual Registrar. Please state your preferred nights. Then print, complete and mail this form to OCUA (Instructions included):

SCHEDULE

The Pyramid Ladder will be used for scheduling all nights. This system is an improved version of the ladder used last fall. There will be a minimum period before you see a repeat opponent (Probably around 4 games). The Pyramid Ladder allows teams of various levels to play competitive games within the same league. The schedule will always be produced 2 games ahead. Ties are allowed. Nights where some games are played but others are not will still be counted; games can be made up at a later date.
Teams will be seeded at the beginning of the year but coordinators can shift mis-seeded teams without causing difficulties with the schedule.

LEAGUES & COORDINATORS

As per usual, there will be 4 different leagues to choose from, each with 2 games per week:

1- Monday/Saturday AM (Tony Argentina)
2- Tuesday/Saturday PM (Moira Reade/Stanley Kent)
3- Wednesday/Sunday AM (Aaron Byrne/Chris Castonguay)
4- Thursday/Sunday PM (Mike Reade)

GAME TIME SLOTS

Weekday games will be scheduled either "early" (starting at 6:30pm) or "late" (starting at 8:30pm or 9:00pm) at fields around the city, based on our field bookings with the city.

Teams will play twice per week using one of the following options:

Monday Evening and Saturday from 11:00am to 12:45pm
Tuesday Evening and Saturday from 1:45pm - 3:30pm
Wednesday Evening and Sunday from 11:00am - 12:45pm
Thursday Evening and Sunday from 1:45pm - 3:30pm

WEATHER, SPIRIT WEEKEND & THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Fall can be a challenge weather-wise. There are no guarantees with how many games you will get in fall league, but there is the possibility of getting 15 games. Note that October 8th - 10th is the Thanksgiving Weekend. There will be no games scheduled on Saturday or Sunday but there will be games on Monday night. By default the games would be played that night but if both captains want to play earlier in the day or at another time on that weekend then those arrangements could be made.
The games on September 17th will be re-scheduled as a double header on October 1st to allow for participation in the Spirit Tournament.

FIELDS

As with last year, OCUA will be using fields from around the city for weekday games. These include Carl Faulkner, Heritage Park, Kinsmen, Goulburn Rec., Leitrim, Garneau, Minto Field, and Terry Fox.

Weekend games will be held at SOD.

PLAYOFFS

On October 29 & 30 teams will play semi-finals and finals. Rain date for this event will be November 5 & 6.
