Layout for Life
OCUA and Daredevil Discs are proud to once again be able to support the fight against Cancer!
Why: Why not? *smile* Layout for Life is a great start to the Ottawa Ultimate season. It gives teams a chance to get together before league (or touring) really begins. It also supports a great cause in Canadian cancer research.
Cost: $250 per team
3 Division: Rec, Competitive, Elite. Elite is by application only. Let me know if you want in the division and we can discuss. Competitive is for skilled teams and teams that are trying to win games. Rec is for teams that enjoy playing Ultimate, may be teaching new players, don't care about winning or losing and just enjoy a nice day of frisbee and a BBQ with cold beer.
Format: 4 games guaranteed. Elite and Competitive pool will attempt to have a format that determines an overall winner, this depends on the number of team registered..
Extras: Field food will be included as always. There will be a cash BBQ and beer garden!

Great intro tournament!
This is great event for all new teams, and returning teams with extensive roster changes. It can really help you meld your team for the oncoming summer season. For less experienced teams it gives you a chance to learn the sport in a super fun setting, and while your not playing, to learn by watching others. Highly recommended.
