2019 MGM Sunday Fall League


Welcome to the oldest new league this fall! The MGM league will be on Sunday mornings and the perfect opportunity to bring the family out to the park, enjoy the last few beautiful weeks of autumn, all while playing your favourite sport with your favourite teammates. The players involved in this league are men 33+ (1986) and women who are 30+ (1989). This is an excellent way to stay active and get involved with a great group of people!

  • Membership: *NEW* all players will need an up to date OCUA Annual Membership to register or play in any league.
  • Captains Gift: Each captain will receive a free swag bag which includes a Clocktower keytag, a disc, a hat, and a sublimated jersey. Come grab your bag at the Fall Captains Meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd! A great opportunity to meet fellow captains, league coordinators and OCUA staff at the Westboro Clocktower Brew Pub. Doors open at 8pm.

Start Date: Sunday, September 8th
End Date: Sunday, October 27th
  No games are held on Thanksgiving Sunday, October 13th
Game Time: Games are scheduled at 10:30am
Field Location: Games will be played at Ben Franklin Park and Lynda Lane Park.
Rules: Fall league follows USA Ultimate's 11th Edition Rules. The gender ratio for Sunday is 4:3. All games play to a score of 15.
Clinics: Get a refresher at the FREE fall ultimate clinic on September 2nd - 2 locations!
Ladder System and Team Ranking: Each league will have a minimum of 6 teams and the Ratings Wager Ladder system will be used for scheduling all games. This system allows teams of various levels to play balanced games within the same league.
Field Safety: The Game Call is made on the home page and on the @ocua Twitter every game day at 3pm. For thunder and lightning, please review the Lightning Protocol.

Refund Policy

A cash refund will be available to those that make the request 2 weeks prior to the start date of the season. A $25 admin fee applies for an individual entry and a $50 fee for team or half-team entry. From this deadline until the half way point of the league or session, a prorated OCUA credit refund will be provided in lieu of cash once a replacement player from the waitlist has paid for the spot. No refunds will be provided during the second half of any league or session.
