REGISTRATION REMINDER

Just a quick note to let all of the players from 2001 teams 
know that the deadline to reserve your team spot for the 
2002 summer season is March 15th. Please make sure that your 
team has sent the form and $250 deposit cheque to OCUA at 
our Bank St address. The forms are available for download on 
the OCUA web site. Letters received or postmarked on or 
before March 15th will be accepted, all others will be put 
on a priority waiting list, first come - first served. There 
are already new teams that have submitted their names for 
spots.

To be fair to all teams, all the applications for spots, 
either new or returning, must be either sent to the Bank St. 
address, or be given by hand to the GM. Giving your 
registration form to your co-ordinator or a BOD member, will 
not do. The date of reception will be taken as the day I get 
the form. So do yourselves a favour and check with your 
Captain to make sure all is well.

LUNCH MONEY DAY - IT'S SO EASY!

On Thursday, April 25th, 2002, The Ottawa Food Bank invites 
you to "brown bag it" and donate the money otherwise spent 
on lunch in support of your community!  Since every dollar 
donated to The Ottawa Food Bank generates eight dollars 
worth of food into the community...just imagine what your 
lunch money can do!  Please join us on Lunch Money Day and 
help us help those in need!   Materials such as lunch bags, 
envelopes, posters and info cards will be distributed in 
advance and volunteers will be on hand at participating 
locations to collect your donations.
