MEETING REGARDING CHANGE OF ROAD LOCATION AT LYNDA LANE

There will be a planning open house on Tuesday May 28th at 
the Pleasant Park School Library, 564 Pleasant Park Road 
from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. They are seeking the public's 
reaction to a change in the road location at Lynda Lane and 
Smyth Road. While it is supposed to be about traffic 
control, if anyone is interested in voicing support for 
Ultimate fields in this area should attend to make their 
feelings known.

POLE-HOLE-KA 2002

The Ottawa Disc Golf Club

4th Annual Pole-Hole-Ka Mixed-Doubles Disc Golf Tournament
Sunday, June 9, 2002
Jacques Cartier Park (North)
Hull, Québec


Date and Time:
SUNDAY, JUNE 9th, 2002, 12:00 noon (rain or shine)

Format:
Mixed-Doubles teams, 26-hole event (full 18 plus the 
northside loop of 8 holes), alternate-shot play.

Cost:
Entry fee will be $30 per couple.  (Non-profit)

Single players may request to register, and will be paired 
into teams as possible, on a first-come first-served basis.

All money taken in will come back to the players in the form 
of prizes, refreshments etc., and any surplus will be 
donated to support the Ottawa Disc Golf Club.

Prizes:
The Pole-Hole-Ka trophy will be awarded to the winners to 
keep for the year of their title.  Additional prizes for 
Men's and Women's closest-to-pin and long drive.

Get your team stoked for a One-Day Ultimate Tournament & 
Barbecue! Start the summer off with a great day in the sun!

- your team to start with
- 24 other coed (4/3) Ultimate league teams participating in 
  a round-robin tourney
- tons of other people as a volleyball tourney will also be 
  going on
- spectators watching your game and watching Ultimate be 
  played the way it's supposed to be 

~~~~~~~~~ WHEN IS IT? ~~~~~~~~~
- Saturday, June 8th
- what a great way to start the summer off right and you'll 
  be there at the beginning, the first tourney!
- games play from 10:00 - 6:00pm

~~~~~~~~~ WHAT WILL WE GET? ~~~~~~~~~
- your team will play a minimum of (3) games during the day
- you'll get to play in a round robin Ultimate tournament
- you'll get free lunch and drink
- FREE MASSAGES to all athletes who want 'em (that's you!)
- there's even a kids zone for your breaks should you have 
  wee ones
- bands playing all day long to add to the festive sunny 
  party- the bands are: Junkyard Symphony; Sticks 'N Stones; 
  Eric Eggleston; The Boyscouts; Little Bones
- BIG, BEAUTIFUL BEER GARDEN where you can party and cool 
  off after your glorious wins!

- $220 for the team (a team is anywhere from 10 to 16 
  players)
- "ALL" the money goes to the Children's Hospital of Eastern 
  Ontario (CHEO)
- the location is on soccer fields in the east end at 
  Shefford Park by Montreal Road behind the Potvin Arena
