Winter Leagues - Summary of Rules

Below is a summary of each OCUA winter league's specific rules and policies.

ALL OCUA INDOOR LEAGUES

  • USA Ultimate 11th Edition Rules.
  • Games are played to time and not to score.
  • Once the end of your timeslot has been reached, the game ends immediately, regardless of the status of the game. Games may end while the disc is in the air and ties are allowed.
  • Under no circumstances can teams play past their allocated timeslot.
  • Captains need to ensure there are no items on the playing field and clear a path along the sideline if necessary.
  • All pulls are made from the back of the endzone.
  • The brick mark is 8 meters from the front of the endzone.
  • A timeout lasts 60 seconds; a timeout cannot be called in the last 5 minutes of the game.
    • If a timeout is called in the last 5 minutes, a turnover ensues. Before a game begins, the Captains should agree on a time piece if a clock is not easily visible from the playing field.
  • All substitute players must be registered in an OCUA winter league.
  • By default, foot blocks are permitted in all OCUA leagues.
