Stella Ultimate is hosting tryouts!

  • April 10th, 9pm-11pm, at Carleton University MNP Park
  • April 20th, 9pm-11pm, at Kanata Richraft Turf ***new***
  • April 23rd, 6pm-8pm, at Carleton University MNP Park

We invite any and all women (even if you are playing juniors and masters!) interested in competitive women’s ultimate to come out to tryouts.

To register for tryout, you need to fill out the Google Form and pay your tryout fees. The cost is $20/tryout or $50 for all 3 tryouts. To attend tryouts, click on the two links below and fill out each form.

Stella B Assistant Coach Wanted!

Stella B is searching for an Assistant Coach. Gavin Thompson is returning to coach for the 2017 season, the team is looking for an Assistant Coach to round out the coaching staff. Click here for futher details.

Ottawa's competitive women program has two teams: Stella A and Stella B. While having separate leadership and tournament seasons, both teams are competitively driven and work hard to be better and move forward. The Stella program also has working relationships with Ottawa’s other women’s teams (Wicked and Women’s Masters).

Team Mission:

Compete against the best women's teams in Canada, the US at the regional and national level, and retain recognition as one of the top women’s teams in Canadian ultimate. Stella A will focus on player development, a thorough understanding of the game of ultimate, and performance achievements at tournaments. Collaborating with Stella B, and our women’s family of Wicked and Women’s Masters, Stella aims to maintain excellence in the calibre of women’s ultimate in Ottawa.

Performance Objective:

Make every game count, whether a win or a loss, through perfecting game strategies and developing as a unit for better results each time.

To develop players seeking to play competitive women’s ultimate through improving technical and athletic skillsets.  Stella B provides a positive and competitive learning environment for players seeking to develop their competitive performance.
