2016 Summer Weekend Edition

Cheers to the weekend! Busy during the week, but looking to play ultimate? We have a Sunday coed league that plays exlcusively at our central fields at Lynda Lane Park. Come out for a fun summer of weekend ultimate!

**New Teams**
New teams will get free entry into our 4 pre-summer clinics. These clinics will cover a variety of skills including throwing, offence, defence, and rules. Groups will be split by level of skill.  Sign-up here.

Games are played at Lynda Lane. 

Ladder System/Team Ranking
OCUA uses the "Wager Ladder" which is a ratings ladder where all teams will be placed on their respective nights. The ladder ensures that your team will play a team with similar skill, and you will move up and down the ladder depending on if you win or lose. This system prevents blowouts and ensures teams see a variety of opponents throughout the summer. 

Schedule
The schedule will be released at least 3 days prior to your game that week. 

Playoff Dates
The season ends with league playoffs at Ultimate Park over 1 weekend on August 27/28 .

Warm-Up
Want to get ready for summer? Sign up for our Pre-Summer Clinics. They will get you all set for the season. 

Team Mentoring Program
The mentoring program is geared toward new teams, or lower tier teams, that would benefit from the help of an experienced player. The Mentor will assist the team in their first 4 games of the season, and will provide valuable insights on Rules, Strategies, Spirit of the Game, etc.

Rules
Check out Ultimate in 10 simple rules for a quick guide to how to play. Summer coed leagues use USA Ultimate's 11th Edition Rules. Gender ratio is 4:3. 

Registration
Complete the Online Registration Form (links below) and pay your team's $200 deposit via credit card payment, email money transfer, or cheque.  Balance is to be paid by April 25th online, or at the captains meeting by cheque.
