Nominations 2026

The Ottawa-Carleton Ultimate Association (OCUA) Board of Directors is seeking qualified volunteers to fill three vacancies; for two year terms. Directorships will begin the day after the Annual General Meeting (April 27, 2026).
 
The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, governance, establishes policy, oversees the operations and financial performance of OCUA. Serving on the Board of Directors will provide you with an opportunity to meaningfully contribute to OCUA and its mission. The Nominations Committee is particularly interested in candidates with knowledge / expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Municipal Planning
  • Financial Literacy
  • Law, Governance, Policy
  • Communications
  • Risk Management
  • Human Resources

A few of the important dates are:

  • Call for Nominations Open: Febraury 26, 2026
  • Deadline for Application to Nominations Committee: March 12, 2026 - Now CLOSED
  • Notification of Candidates Nominated by the Nominations Committee: March 13, 2026
  • Deadline for Nominations from the Membership: March 28, 2026
  • Election Day (Annual General Meeting): April 27, 2026

OCUA is strongly committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion within the community. Nominations from the Membership can be submitted online by March 28, 2026 by obtaining signatures* of 25 Members of the Association supporting your candidacy and completing the Nomination Form
- Full Names and e-mail addresses will be accepted in liey of physical signatures. The Nominations Committee may contact your sponsors to validate the nomination.
