Info for New Players

First of all, welcome to the Ottawa-Carleton Ultimate Association! We're excited you found us!

Ultimate is a high-energy sport enjoyed by people of all ages and skills, who don't mind a little running and who are looking to have a lot of fun. The game is non-contact, but that doesn't mean it isn't an incredible workout!

How to Play

The easiest way to learn Ultimate is to start playing, but before you hit the field, read up a little bit on 'How To Play Ultimate'.

Adult Step by Step Guide on registering for OCUA's Leagues. If you are under the age of 18, click here for our Youth and Junior options.

Step 1: Create an OCUA Account

If you plan to play in an OCUA league, or wish to post to the forum, you will need to create an OCUA account. Here's how to do it.

Step 2: Register as an Individual

Play as an individual and be placed on a team with other individuals! A great way to meet new people.

Step 3: Find a Team

At any given time, there are several teams looking for committed or occasional players. To look for teams that are searching for full time players or spares, check the Teams Looking For Players forum. Alternately, you can create a post yourself in the Players Looking For Teams forum.
