2021 Fall Programming Update: Vaccination & Participation

For the 2021 Fall season, OCUA will not require COVID-19 vaccination for participation. OCUA does, however, strongly encourage all participants to get fully vaccinated to help protect themselves, fellow participants, and the community.

While OCUA is not requiring vaccination for participation for the fall season, some facilities used by our fall leagues are. In these cases, OCUA is committed to upholding and adhering to their requirements. Compliance with facility regulations will be mandatory for participation in leagues that use these facilities.

Adult leagues affected by facility vaccination requirements will be notified directly in the next 24-hours with more information. Captains will be asked to confirm that their players will comply with regulations and that their team will still participate in light of these changes. Teams who decide not to participate in the league will be issued a full refund with no penalty.

In addition, all OCUA members, spectators, coaches and volunteers are reminded that they must also adhere to the current Return to Play protocols (available here).

OCUA will continue to assess and monitor public health directives and will make a decision regarding vaccination requirements for 2021-2022 Winter Leagues prior to registration opening the end of September.
