Yes you can wear cleats on the Hill. I practiced there several times last year and no one said anything. The soccer players broke a lamp last summer and nothing was said, either. :)

As for parking, parking on the sidestreets will be free because it's a holiday. You can park on Metcalfe, O'Connor, and Queen.

I'm not sure about the lot behind the hill at Bank & Wellington, but it's always worth a try.

Why not pick a field that is actually a sports field, or at the very least not a location with lots of tourists.

For a central location, there's Riverside, Brantwood Park, Lynda Lane, or Lees Ave.
