Indoor 2017-2018 Update

There are a few changes coming to the 2017-2018 indoor season and as such, we wanted to give members as much notice as possible. Given indoor rentals are mostly completed in June/July, you can assume these changes are firm. We are quite excited about OCUA's growing indoor leagues and more changes may come in the future, so stay tuned and keep an eye on the Winter Indoor Page.

General registration (other than Parity) will open on Monday, October 2nd at 10pm (save the date).

Parity League (Advanced) -> Separate registration night planned for 10pm Wednesday, September 27. NOTE: OCUA will be trying out a new Shopify checkout for Parity League.

Tuesday 5v5 -> Regrettably, the Oz dome has been fully booked and therefore this league will no longer be available.

Wednesday 6v6 (Intermediate) -> No changes planned.

*NEW* Wednesday Carleton 5v5 (Recreational) -> Our rental contract with Carleton University has moved to Wednesdays and has expanded to 18 weeks. Format to remain 5 on 5 sub-on-the-fly with team, half team, and individual registration options.

u17 Development Program -> Same as above, the Junior Development Program will move to Wednesday evenings @ Carleton.

Thursday 5v5 @ Ben Franklin (Recreational)  -> Team, half team, and individual registration options will be available.

Thursday 5v5 @ Superdome (Advanced-Intermediate) -> Team, half team, and individual registration options will be available. This league will now support up to 10 teams and the level of play will be advertised as advanced-intermediate.

Friday 6v6 (Recreational) -> Longer games (90 minutes, 10pm-11:30pm), longer season (two 12 week sessions), and bigger beers. Well that last one is up to you.

*NEW* Sunday 6v6 Grand Masters (Recreational) -> This league will now run two full sessions of 12 weeks and 90 minute games! November-January (session 1) + February-April (session 2).

The plan is to continue to offer u17 4v4 leagues, a u10 and u13 Development Program, and some competitive development or practice nights; pending final rental contracts. Stay tuned for more information and keep an eye on these sites for updates:

Lastly, OCUA's refund policy will change to keep up with the demands of managing an indoor season with mostly individual entry leagues. The full policy will be updated by end of September and implemented for the upcoming indoor season. Cash refunds will be available to those that request them 2 weeks prior to the start of the league, and from there until the half way point of the session, prorated league credit refunds will be provided once a replacement player from the waitlist has paid for the spot. No refunds will be provided during the second half of any session.
