Youth & Junior Convenor

Youth and Junior Convenors help OCUA manage the next generation of Ultimate players. Convenors are a resource for parents and coaches, and the first point of contact for parents before staff. For details on Youth and Junior coaches, click here.

  • Email communications from parents and coaches
  • Attend all practices and scheduled meetings
  • Manage coaches and incorporate practice plan from OCUA
  • Monitor Spirit of the Game in practice
  • Monitor health and safety of participants
  • Bring coaching supplies provided by OCUA
  • Help coach or recruit coaches if additional support is needed

 

Compensation: 50$ / week. 

Conditions: Per activities involved with age groups in the vulnerable sector, convenors and coaches are required to complete a Criminal Reference Check. If you don't have one, OCUA will provide you with the necessary documents to get one for free.
