2019 Adult Tuesday 7v7 Coed League

Tuesday 7v7 League Details

  • Membership: *NEW* all players will need an up to date OCUA Annual Membership to register or play in any league.
  • Start Date: Tuesday, May 14th
  • End Date: Tuesday, August 27th (final week is optional where you get to pick your opponent)
  • Playoff Dates: Included with your fees is entry to League Playoff Weekend held at Ultimate Park on August 24th - 25th.
  • Game Time: All games start at 6:45pm, except for the week of Quarter-Finals (6:30pm start).
  • Schedule: Your schedule will be released at least two weeks prior to each game.
  • Field Locations: Check out our handy map! Games are played all over the city, and at our privately owned fields, UPI, in Manotick. The locations on the map are subject to change.
  • Rules: Summer leagues follow USA Ultimate's 11th Edition Rules. The gender ratio for Tuesday 7v7 is 4:3. 
  • Gender Ratio: We encourage captains to learn about Ratio A and Ratio B. One of these gender ratios will be implemented for summer 2020. Both will be tested in the fall season.
  • Ladder System and Team Ranking: OCUA uses the "Wager Ladder" instead of divisions which is a ratings system that ensures your team will play a team of similar skill and you will move up and down the ladder depending on whether you win or lose. This system prevents blowouts and ensures teams see a variety of opponents. 
  • Jerseys: OCUA has an official apparel partner, BE Ultimate, who can hook you up with all of your team jerseys and performance wear needs. Members get 10 to 15% off! Details can be found here.

Registration: Complete the Online Registration (links below) and pay your team's $200 deposit via credit card, email money transfer or cheque. The remaining balance is due by the Captains Meeting on April 23rd. Note: You only need to pay the $200 deposit before March 31st to avoid the late fee. The balance can be paid by cheque at the Captains Meeting or online before that date.

Refund Policy

Summer teams pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 to secure their team's registration. After the Captains Meeting, no refunds are provided. For further details click here: OCUA Refund Policy
