2018 Adult Sunday 5v5 Rec Coed League

Sunday 5v5 League Details

  • Start Date: Sunday, May 20th
    There will be no games scheduled for July 1st
  • End Date: Sunday, August 26th (last week is optional)
  • Playoff Dates: Included with your fees is entry to League Playoff Weekend held at Ultimate Park on August 25th - 26th. Click here for more info.
  • Game Time: Games will be scheduled at 6pm
  • Schedule: Your schedule will be released at least two weeks prior to each game.
  • Field Locations: *NEW THIS YEAR* Games are played at Hillcrest Turf and Lynda Lane.
  • Rules: Summer leagues follow USA Ultimate's 11th Edition Rules. The gender ratio for Sunday 5v5 is 3:2. Teams will have a maximum roster of 12 players.
  • Ladder System and Team Ranking: OCUA uses the "Wager Ladder" instead of divisions which is a ratings system that ensures your team will play a team of similar skill and you will move up and down the ladder depending on whether you win or lose. This system prevents blowouts and ensures teams see a variety of opponents. 
  • Jerseys: OCUA has an official apparel partner, BE Ultimate, who can hook you up with all of your team jerseys and performance wear needs. Members get 10 to 15% off! Details can be found here.

Registration: Complete the Online Registration (links below) and pay your team's $200 deposit via credit card, email money transfer or cheque. The remaining balance is due by the Captains Meeting on April 24th. Note: You only need to pay the $200 deposit before March 31st to avoid the late fee. The balance can be paid by cheque at the Captains Meeting or online before that date.

Refund Policy

A cash refund will be available to those that make the request 2 weeks prior to the start date of the season. A $25 admin fee applies for an individual entry and a $50 fee for team or half-team entry. From this deadline until the half way point of the league or session, a prorated OCUA credit refund will be provided in lieu of cash once a replacement player from the waitlist has paid for the spot. No refunds will be provided during the second half of any league or session.

Summer teams pay a non-refundable deposit of $200 to secure their team's registration. After the Captains Meeting, no refunds are provided.
